The Power of Women and Children NPC was represented at a Legacy Fundraising Breakfast held in Lenasia last Thursday, where stakeholders gathered to support ongoing community development initiatives.
The organisation’s representative, Tom Fikiri, attended the event on behalf of the NPC, which continues to focus on programmes aimed at uplifting women and children through sustainable social impact projects.
The breakfast, organised by the Ahmed Kathrada Foundation, brought together leaders, activists, and partners committed to advancing the legacy of social justice and community empowerment.
A notable highlight of the event was the attendance of former President of the Republic of South Africa, Kgalema Motlanthe, whose presence underscored the significance of the gathering.
The event formed part of broader efforts to strengthen collaboration between civil society organisations and stakeholders in addressing social challenges and promoting inclusive development.
