The Power of Women and Children International (PoWC) warmly invites all Early Childhood Development (ECD) practitioners, teachers and caregivers who have already registered for our upcoming Healing Touch for ECDs Workshop to attend this important and empowering gathering.
This special workshop is designed around a simple but powerful principle:
When we care for those who care for children, we strengthen the future of our children.
The workshop will bring together ECD practitioners and teachers for a meaningful day of learning, reflection, connection and practical engagement focused on the emotional well-being, care and holistic development of young children.
🌱 HEALING TOUCH FOR ECDs
Promoting Caring, Healing and Resilience in Early Childhood
The early childhood years are among the most important stages of human development. ECD practitioners are not simply teachers—they are caregivers, mentors, protectors, role models and, often, trusted adults who provide children with a sense of safety and belonging.
The Healing Touch for ECDs Workshop seeks to strengthen this important role by exploring ways of promoting:
- ❤️ Emotional well-being in early childhood
- 🤝 Caring and responsive relationships
- 🌱 Growth, healing and holistic development
- 🧠 Greater awareness of children’s emotional needs
- 🫶 Compassionate approaches to working with young learners
- 🌍 Stronger and more resilient ECD communities
The workshop flyer identifies these three principal areas of focus: promoting emotional well-being in early childhood; strengthening caring and responsive relationships; and supporting growth, healing and holistic development.
