👨‍👧 Celebrating the Power of Fatherhood in Early Childhood

On 1st August 2025, the serene spaces of Lehae Library were filled with the energy of purpose and connection as we hosted our 5th Fathers Matter Workshop for Early Childhood Development (ECD) Centres.

This workshop marked another exciting chapter in our ongoing mission to promote active and positive fatherhood—especially during the crucial early years of a child’s development.

The session created space for fathers, caregivers, and ECD practitioners to reflect, share, and learn about the vital role men can play in their children’s lives. Topics included:

• Simple, everyday ways to bond with young children
• Tools for positive communication and discipline
• Addressing barriers to father participation in ECD spaces

It was powerful to hear real-life stories from fathers who are choosing to be present, nurturing, and hands-on in raising the next generation.
