PWC participated in the 2022 Youth Day Parade for Justice and Change, promoting the voices of youth and the right of youth to be included in social, political and economic decision-making of South African supported by hundreds of local organizations across South Africa.
This event was held on June 16 2022, a day dedicated to remember the youth who participated in the June 16 1976 against apartheid.
The youth presented a memorandum in Pretoria in which among other things they demanded that the government:
- Combat youth unemployment, gender-based violence, climate change, and crime;
- Put an end to all forms of racism, discrimination, and corruption;
- Create sustainable and meaningful job opportunities and safe environments for learning and development;
- Provide free and quality education, healthcare, and service
