The spirit of giving doesn’t rest—and neither does Angelo, the generous owner of Eikenhof Bottle Store and Eikenhof Tavern. After a heartwarming event in Tshepisong, where Angelo donned the role of Father Christmas, he was thrilled by the impact of the day. So much so that he asked, “Is there anywhere else I can donate gifts?”
That question led us to 6621 Sodarite Crescent, Ext 8, Ennerdale, to the remarkable organization called Hope for the Hopeless. This haven for vulnerable children provides care, love, and opportunities for kids who need it most. It was the perfect place to close out the year with another wave of joy and blessings.
On this memorable day, 70 children were surprised with thoughtfully curated gift packs, each one a token of love and hope. Angelo once again stepped up to ensure that these kids ended the year on a high note. Seeing the excitement in their eyes and hearing their laughter filled the air with a palpable sense of joy.
This moment wasn’t just about the presents—it was about showing these children that they are seen, valued, and cherished. Through the generosity of Angelo, the tireless work of Mr. Tom Fikiri the liaison officer of the Power of Women and Children and the mission of Hope for the Hopeless, these kids were reminded that brighter days are always within reach.
As we wrapped up the year, we reflected on the incredible power of kindness and the way one person’s decision to give can ripple through communities, bringing hope and inspiration.
