Fathers Matter Workshop No. 6 and Graduation Ceremony at Lehae Township

On Friday, 6th September 2025, we successfully hosted our sixth and final Fathers Matter Workshop for Early Childhood Development (ECD) centres at Lehae Township. This milestone gathering brought together dedicated ECD practitioners, caregivers, and community members who have journeyed with us through all six workshops in the series.

The focus of Workshop No. 6 was to deepen conversations around the vital role fathers play in the lives of young children. Through interactive discussions and activities, delegates reflected on how to actively engage fathers in ECD programmes, create inclusive environments, and strengthen family involvement in child development. The sessions were both inspiring and practical, equipping participants with tools they can take back to their centres and communities.

Following the workshop, we held a special graduation ceremony to celebrate the delegates who faithfully attended all six workshops. Their commitment, dedication, and passion for early childhood development shone brightly as each graduate was recognized for their efforts. Certificates of participation were presented, marking not only the completion of the programme but also the beginning of a new chapter in championing father involvement in ECD spaces.

The atmosphere was filled with joy, pride, and a shared sense of accomplishment. The graduation served as a reminder that when fathers are empowered and included in their children’s early development, the entire community benefits.
