Power of Women and Children Completes Fathers Matter Champion National Training

Johannesburg, South Africa – 31 July 2026

Power of Women and Children (POWC) is proud to announce the successful completion of the Fathers Matter Champion National Training, which concluded on Friday, 31 July 2026, at The Bridge Church of the Nazarene, Johannesburg South.

The training brought together passionate individuals and organisations committed to strengthening families by promoting responsible, involved, and nurturing fatherhood. Throughout the programme, participants were equipped with practical knowledge, leadership skills, and community-based strategies to positively influence the lives of fathers, children, and families.

As the final day marked the end of the national training, it also signified the beginning of an exciting new chapter. POWC now looks forward to implementing a comprehensive six-month Plan of Action, putting into practice the knowledge and skills gained during the training. This implementation phase will focus on engaging fathers within our communities, strengthening family relationships, and creating safe, supportive environments where children can thrive.

We are grateful to the facilitators, organisers, and every participant who contributed to making the training a meaningful and inspiring experience. Together, we are building stronger families, healthier communities, and a brighter future for our children.
