Moti Cares Foundation Warms the Hearts of Tshepisong

On the 5th of July 2024, the Moti Cares Foundation, a charitable trust based in Johannesburg, extended its benevolent arm to the community of Tshepisong. This trust, however, is unlike many others. It was established by the Moti Group, a multifaceted enterprise headquartered in South Africa with a diverse portfolio spanning mining and metals beneficiation, property, aviation, logistics, and financial products.

The Moti Family, driven by a community-focused ethos, has consistently emphasized charity work within their localities. Over the past two decades, their philanthropic endeavors have included numerous blanket and food drives aimed at aiding those in need. As the Moti Group continues to expand, so does their capacity to support and uplift their communities.

On this particular Friday, the atmosphere in Tshepisong, situated southwest of Johannesburg, was filled with anticipation. Mr. Fikiri, the Liaison Officer of the Power of Women and Children, which operates the Ithemba La Bantwana Children’s Home, had invited disadvantaged community members to a special event. The occasion? The distribution of blankets generously donated by the Moti Cares Foundation.

The event saw the distribution of over 200 blankets to both the community and the children’s home, providing much-needed warmth and comfort during the harsh winter months. The gesture not only brought physical warmth but also lit up the faces of many families who had been struggling to stay warm.
